Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use the Radiant Skylights Basildon website, whether you are looking into a rooflight, comparing skylight options or sending us an enquiry. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This statement was prepared on 2 October 2026.
What we have done
- Colour contrast. Text and controls are designed to meet the AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Keyboard navigation. Links, menus and buttons can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the element in focus is clearly marked.
- Headings. Each page has a logical heading order, so screen reader users can move through it by section.
- Images. Meaningful images have text descriptions, and decorative ones are hidden from assistive technology.
- Motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we switch off animation and movement effects.
- Text size. Pages respond to browser zoom and larger text settings and work on small screens.
Known limitations
Two parts of the site rely on third-party tools that we do not fully control, and they may not be completely accessible:
- the embedded enquiry form, which is provided by an outside form provider;
- the interactive map showing our service area.
If either gives you difficulty, you do not need to use it. You can email info@radiantskylightsbasildon.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp at 07880 284133 and we will deal with your enquiry in the same way. Our contact page lists these options.
Reporting a problem
If you find something that is hard to use or read, or you need information in a different format, please let us know by email or WhatsApp. Tell us the page address, what went wrong and, if you are willing, the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 working days and to fix problems or give you an alternative as quickly as we can.
If you are not happy with our response
You can use our complaints procedure. In Great Britain you can also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service, and more information is on gov.uk. Our privacy policy and terms are written in plain language, and we are happy to explain any part of them.
Keeping this statement current
We review the site as we add or change pages and will update this statement when we do. It was last reviewed on 2 October 2026.
